# Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal in Rescue, CA — Prices from $400 > Roof moss removal in Rescue, CA from $400. Brushed off, treated at the root, checked again two to three weeks later. No pressure washer on shingles. Source: https://experthomecleaners.com/rescue-ca/roof-cleaning Rescue, CA · El Dorado County # Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal in Rescue Roof cleaning and moss removal in Rescue, CA starts from $400, with heavy moss brushed off and the roof treated rather than pressure washed. Rescue's foothill tree cover shades roofs more than the valley floor, and shade is where moss takes hold. Starting at $400 - Shaded roofs under foothill oaks - Oak debris cleared with the growth - More roof area on larger lots - Return visit two to three weeks later - No pressure washer on shingles 5 across 43 Google reviews Insured $1M general liability, per occurrence Guarantee 24h to report a miss — we re-clean it free Overview ## Moss under foothill shade The method is a brush for heavy moss, a whole-roof treatment for lichen and small moss, and a return visit two to three weeks later. In Rescue, the trees decide most of the rest. Rescue's foothill tree cover keeps roofs in shade more than on the valley floor, and shaded sections are where moss and lichen get established. The oaks also drop debris onto the roof through the year, and that debris has to come off along with the growth. Lot size plays in as well. Rescue's larger, spread-out properties tend to come with more roof area per house than a subdivision home in Cameron Park or Shingle Springs. Where a neighbour's house does sit close, anything that comes off our roof work onto their side gets cleaned up. Gutters catch the same oak debris, so they are worth asking about at the same time. Homes sit further apart, with more yard and outbuildings around them. - ### More ground per visit Spread-out lots add exterior surface to most jobs, and the oaks drop more debris than trees on the valley floor. - ### Oaks and dry dust Oak debris arrives through the year here, and the dry season adds a layer of dust over it. [(279) 300-0830](tel:+12793000830 "Call Expert Home Cleaners") Does Rescue need more roof work than a tighter subdivision? Often, yes. Foothill trees give Rescue roofs more shade for moss than the valley floor, and larger lots usually mean more roof area to treat. Do you do the follow-up visit for Rescue roof jobs? Yes. Every Rescue roof job includes a return visit two to three weeks after treatment, the same as anywhere else we work, to see the result. Why does the lichen not come off on the day? Because the treatment works at the root. Over the following two to three weeks the lichen dies and blows off in the wind, which is why the return visit is scheduled for then.
