## 7. Scope of Work, Time Limits & Service Quality

**7.1. Agreed Service Scope** Services will be performed according to the agreed service type, authorized working time, and reasonable priorities communicated to the Company.

**7.2. Time-Limited Appointments** For hourly or time-capped appointments, the Company will make reasonable efforts to complete as much of the agreed work as possible within the authorized service period. The Company does not guarantee that every requested task can be completed within a limited number of hours.

**7.3. Client Priorities** Clients are encouraged to identify their highest-priority tasks before service begins.

**7.4. Additional Time** If additional time is needed, the Company may offer an extension at the applicable rate. No additional billable work will be performed without authorization.

**7.5. Quality Standards** The Company will use reasonable care and appropriate cleaning methods consistent with the agreed service scope.

## 12. Appointment Start Time & Client-Caused Delays

**12.1. Scheduled Start Time** When a service professional arrives at the scheduled time, is ready to work, and the Client has not provided the necessary access or conditions, the reserved service time may begin at the scheduled appointment time.

**12.2. Client-Caused Delays** Examples include: the Client is absent or does not respond; doors or gates are locked; access codes or keys are unavailable; the Client is asleep or otherwise unable to provide entry; required work areas are inaccessible; or other Client-controlled circumstances prevent work from beginning.

**12.3. No Automatic Extension** Client-caused delays do not automatically extend the scheduled appointment or reduce an agreed minimum service charge.

**12.4. Company-Caused Delays** If the Company arrives late for reasons within its control, hourly service time begins when the service professional actually arrives and is ready to work.

**12.5. Flat-Rate Services** For flat-rate work, a Client-caused delay does not automatically reduce the agreed project price. Any additional waiting charge must be disclosed and agreed upon before it is incurred.

**12.6. Applicability** This policy applies to all services, subject to the pricing structure of the particular booking.

## 17. Cleaning Quality Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy

**17.1. 24-Hour Complaint Submission Period** Clients are required to inspect the completed work and report any cleaning quality concerns within 24 hours of service completion. Complaints submitted after this period may be declined under the Company’s voluntary service-quality guarantee, subject to applicable law.

**17.2. Mandatory Photo or Video Documentation** All cleaning quality complaints submitted through the Company’s internal dispute resolution process must include clear photographs or video recordings showing the specific areas or conditions in question. Complaints submitted without supporting photographic or video evidence may be considered incomplete for purposes of the Company’s voluntary corrective-service program.

**17.3. Complaint Review Process** The Company reserves the right to review all submitted complaints, evaluate the supporting documentation, and determine whether the reported deficiencies fall within the originally agreed scope of services.

**17.4. Company’s Right to Determine the Resolution** If a complaint is determined to be valid, the Company reserves the right, at its discretion, to select an appropriate resolution, which may include: a reasonable partial refund or financial compensation; sending the original or another qualified service professional to correct reported deficiencies at no additional charge; or arranging a follow-up visit to re-clean or correct the specific affected areas. The Company is not automatically obligated to provide a refund when a reasonable corrective-service option is available. Any corrective visit will be limited to the specific areas and deficiencies covered by the approved complaint and will not constitute a complete repeat of the original service unless expressly authorized by the Company.

**17.5. Limitations** The Company is not responsible for new dirt, spills, damage, or other conditions arising after service completion. Complaints regarding work outside the agreed service scope or tasks that could not reasonably be completed within the authorized service time do not automatically qualify for complimentary corrective service.

**17.6. Legal Rights** This policy governs the Company’s voluntary quality guarantee and internal complaint resolution process. Nothing in this policy eliminates or restricts any legal rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. The Company’s choice of resolution remains subject to applicable California law.

## 30. House Cleaning — Minimum Hours, On-Site Assessment & Priorities

**30.1. Minimum Hours Are Not a Whole-Home Guarantee** A minimum booking such as one cleaner for four hours is not a promise that every room, bathroom, surface and requested task can be completed in four hours. Actual time depends on property size, condition, buildup, accessibility and requested work.

**30.2. On-Site Time Estimate** Upon arrival the cleaner may inspect the property and recommend additional time and cost. Extra hours require Client approval and Company availability.

**30.3. Client Choices** The Client may approve additional hours or retain the original time cap and specify priority rooms and tasks. Within that cap, the cleaner will work diligently and complete as much as reasonably possible; other areas may remain unfinished without that fact alone establishing deficient service.

**30.4. Declining Both Options** If the Client refuses both additional hours and priority-based cleaning within the original booking, and chooses not to proceed after the cleaner arrives, the deposit may be applied to an On-Site Assessment Fee for travel, inspection and revised estimate preparation, if disclosed before booking and lawful in California. The amount must be reasonable and cannot exceed the deposit; any excess is refunded.

**30.5. Payment for Authorized Time** If cleaning proceeds under the agreed minimum booking, the minimum charge remains payable even when not every requested area is finished. The Company remains responsible for diligent and reasonably careful performance and non-waivable consumer rights.

## 31. Carpet Cleaning — Starting Prices, Contamination & On-Site Adjustments

**31.1. Starting Estimate and Deposit** Carpet cleaning quotes based on Client descriptions, photographs and measurements are preliminary starting prices for the disclosed scope and condition. A deposit based on that starting quote reserves the visit and is credited to the final approved service price; it does not freeze pricing when material undisclosed conditions are found.

**31.2. Client Disclosures** The Client must disclose urine (pet or human), feces, vomit, bodily fluids, odors, deeply embedded dirt, severe staining, moisture, suspected mold, prior chemical treatment and additional carpeted rooms, stairs or hallways. Photos should fairly show affected areas and overall condition.

**31.3. Inspection and Revised Quote** The technician may inspect the carpet on arrival. Material undisclosed or inadequately photographed contamination, additional areas, odor treatment or specialized labor/products may result in a revised quote, explained and approved before extra work begins.

**31.4. Severe Contamination and Safety** Heavily urine- or feces-contaminated carpeting may need repeat treatment, specialized equipment or may be unsafe to service. Standard carpet cleaning is not biohazard, sewage or mold remediation; the Company may refuse unsafe work.

**31.5. Declined Revised Quote** If the Client declines a justified revised quote and the original service cannot reasonably proceed, the deposit may be applied to a disclosed, reasonable On-Site Assessment Fee for travel and inspection to the extent California law permits. The fee may not exceed the deposit or reasonable costs/value; excess is refunded. This does not apply solely to Company estimating errors made despite complete accurate information.

**31.6. Results Not Guaranteed** Permanent staining, deeply embedded contamination, urine odors, discoloration or damage to padding/subfloor may remain despite appropriate cleaning. Replacement may be necessary.
