Solar array wash — about twenty panels in Elk Grove

The challenge

Dust, pollen and bird droppings had built up on the array — heaviest along the edges and the lower rows of the modules.

What we did

We looked the panels over first and confirmed there was no visible damage to the surface. Then the array was washed with soft tools and treated water — no high pressure, no abrasives, nothing that could scratch the coating.
