Concrete driveway and front walkway pressure washed back to an even colour after years of road dust and staining.

The challenge

The concrete had taken on road dust, dark organic staining and tyre marks. Along the edges the surface had gone visibly darker than the middle of the drive.

What we did

We looked at the condition of the concrete first and tested the method on a small patch before going further. Plants, the garage door and the surfaces next to the work area were covered. Then the concrete was cleaned in even passes with the pressure set to what that surface could take, and the area was rinsed down and the loosened dirt cleared away.

The result

The driveway and the walk to the front door came back much cleaner and far more even in colour. The difference shows most along the edges and in the patches that had gone darkest.
