Overview

Out of the house, not just tidied.

A cleanout is a different job from a regular clean. The point is not to make a room shine; it is to get things that no longer belong there out of the house. That covers a few situations: a garage or attic that has filled up over years, a rental emptied between tenants, a move-out where the furniture is not coming along, or an estate cleanout after a family member has passed.

Pricing runs by volume and by what is actually in the load. A truckload of boxed household goods is a different job from a garage with an old appliance or a shed full of yard equipment. Access matters too: stairs, an elevator and parking all change the work, so mention them when you ask for an estimate. We quote after seeing photos or the space itself.

We sort as we go. Usable items are set aside for donation rather than sent to landfill by default. Anything that needs special disposal, such as electronics, paint or certain appliances, is flagged rather than quietly thrown in with the rest. The crew comes with moving straps, dollies, sorting bins and a box truck for hauling.

Estate cleanouts run at the pace the family sets, and anything that should be kept is flagged before the rest goes. You don't have to be present, as long as we have clear instructions on what stays, what goes and how to get in.

What we don't take is construction or demolition debris; that is a dumpster-rental job. Bulk hazardous materials beyond standard household items are also out. When we finish, the space is swept clear of what we removed. A full clean afterward is a separate booking, such as deep cleaning or move-in/out cleaning.

What's included

In the price — and what isn't.

Included in every visit

  • Sort and haul

Unwanted furniture, boxes and household items.

  • Garage to basement

Garage, attic, shed and basement cleanouts.

  • Donation set-aside

Usable items go to donation rather than landfill by default.

  • Responsible disposal

Items that need special handling are flagged, not mixed in.

Not included

  • Construction or demolition debris (a dumpster-rental job, not ours)
  • Hazardous material disposal beyond standard household items, such as paint or chemicals in bulk
  • Deep cleaning of the space afterward (book it separately if you want it)

Process

How we do Cleanouts & Junk Removal.

  1. Describe the job

Use the estimate form to tell us what is involved (a few rooms, a garage, a full move-out or an estate) and the access: stairs, elevator, parking.

  2. Photos, then a price

Price is built on volume and load type, not a flat per-room rate. A person quotes after seeing photos or the space itself.

  3. Sort as we go

Donatable items are set aside, flagged items get proper disposal, and everything else is hauled.

  4. Sweep the space clear

The space is swept clear of the debris we removed. It is not a full clean, just clear of what we took out.

The crew was right on time and did a thorough job, leaving everything in my place looking great and taking good care not to disturb anything. Marianna comes every Monday and turns our mess into a home—I wouldn’t give her up for the world.

My house is absolutely beautiful. I’ve had difficulty being able to clean it to the level that I’m used to and so to have her come in yesterday and just do everything perfectly put me at such a sense of ease I can’t recommend this service any higher

Natalia showed up on time to our cleaning appointment. She was extremely respectful, soft demeanor, and very kind. How is a cleanout priced?

By volume and by what is in the load. A truckload of boxes is a different job from a garage with an old appliance, and stairs or tight parking change it too. We quote after seeing photos or the space itself, starting at $250.

What happens to items you haul out?

They are sorted as we go. Usable items are set aside for donation instead of going to landfill by default, and anything needing special disposal, such as electronics or paint, is flagged rather than mixed in with the rest.

Do you handle estate cleanouts?

Yes. Estate cleanouts run at the pace the family sets, and anything that should be kept is flagged before the rest goes. Tell us in the estimate request what kind of property it is and how much access there is.

Do you take construction debris?

No. Construction and demolition debris is a dumpster-rental job. Cleanouts cover household items, furniture and general clutter, the things you would carry out yourself if you had the time and a truck.

Do I need to be present?

Not necessarily. As long as we have clear instructions on what stays, what goes and how to access the space, the crew can work without you there. For an estate, flag anything to be kept before the day.

Can you clean the space afterward?

Not as part of the cleanout. We sweep the space clear of the debris we removed; a full clean afterward is a separate booking, such as a deep cleaning or a move-in/out cleaning once the space is empty.

Do you take paint and chemicals?

Only as standard household items. Bulk hazardous materials, such as paint or chemicals in quantity, are outside the service. Items that need special handling are flagged during sorting so they are not thrown out with general household waste.

What equipment does the crew bring?

Moving straps, dollies, sorting bins to separate donations from disposal, and a box truck for hauling. Tell us about stairs, elevators and parking in advance, since access shapes how the load comes out.
