Deep Cleaning in Antelope

$55/hr per cleaner in Antelope — quoted up front. Starting at $200.

Antelope's 1980s-and-newer homes haven't had the decades of hard-water scale buildup that older parts of the metro show, so a first deep clean here usually needs less descaling work in the bathrooms than an older Sacramento or Citrus Heights home. The flatter, more open terrain does mean dry-season valley dust reaches window tracks and vents a bit more directly, without heavier tree cover to slow it down.
Deep cleaning is what we recommend when a home has gone months or longer without professional attention, before moving in or out, or ahead of hosting family for the holidays. It includes everything from our regular house cleaning and then goes after the buildup a maintenance clean never touches: baseboards and door frames, switch plates, vent covers, light fixtures, tile grout, the inside of the microwave, and the greasy film that settles on kitchen cabinet fronts. Bathrooms get descaled, not just wiped. Because we work at this level of detail, a deep clean takes noticeably longer than a regular visit, and we schedule it with its own dedicated crew so the work is never rushed. Grout cleaning on its own is priced and booked the same way — as a deep clean. The method depends on what's actually in the joints: metal brushes for some buildup, specialized solutions for others, and which one we use is a judgment call made on the grout itself, not a fixed recipe. We work on any material. The one thing we won't promise: if grout has permanently changed color, we'll tell you before we start, not after — some staining doesn't come back to its original shade no matter the method.
Newer construction in Antelope generally means less accumulated hard-water scale than older housing elsewhere in the metro. Flatter, less-shaded terrain lets valley dust reach window tracks and vents more directly.

How we do Deep Cleaning

  1. We walk the home (in person or by video), agree on the scope and give you a starting price; the exact quote is confirmed by the home's condition.
  2. A dedicated deep-clean crew arrives with its own equipment and product kit.
  3. Work runs top-down in each room: fixtures and vents first, floors last.
  4. Kitchen and bathrooms get the detail pass: grout, descaling, degreasing.
  5. The lead does a final walk-through with the checklist and you sign off on the result.

Safety and limits

  • Descaling and degreasing products are stronger than our daily kit; we ventilate rooms while working and store products in a locked caddy.
  • We never mix chlorine- and ammonia-based products under any circumstances.

A 1938 bungalow needed construction dust and grout haze removed after a kitchen remodel before the family moved back in.

The crew nine hours on site: HEPA vacuuming of all surfaces including walls and cabinet interiors, dry-then-damp detail pass on woodwork, grout haze removal on the backsplash, descaling of both bathrooms, and a hardwood-safe finish on the oak floors.

Frequently asked questions

Does a newer Antelope home need less deep-clean time than an older house elsewhere in the metro?

Often, yes — less accumulated hard-water scale to descale, though the exact time still depends on the home's condition.

Antelope's terrain is flatter and less shaded — does that change anything for a deep clean?

Mainly just where the dust tends to settle — flatter, more open terrain lets valley dust reach window tracks and vents more directly than a heavily-shaded neighborhood.

How often should a home get a deep clean?

For most homes, once or twice a year on top of regular maintenance cleaning. Homes with shedding pets, wood-burning fireplaces or nearby construction benefit from a shorter interval.

What is the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?

Regular cleaning maintains surfaces you touch and see every week. Deep cleaning goes after buildup: baseboards, vents, grout, descaling, light fixtures and the inside of the microwave. It takes noticeably longer and is scheduled with its own crew.

Do I need a deep clean before starting a recurring plan?

Usually the first visit of a recurring plan covers it, quoted after we see or discuss the condition of the home. A separate deep clean first makes sense when the home has gone a year or more without professional cleaning.

Will grout that's permanently stained come back to its original color?

Not always — if the color change looks permanent, we'll tell you before we start rather than promise a result we can't guarantee.

How much does grout cleaning add to a regular deep clean?

It's priced as part of the deep clean — grout work takes extra hours, so a visit with serious grout cleaning costs more than a standard deep clean, not a separate line item.

Do you cover all of Antelope, or just certain neighborhoods?

All of it — Antelope is fully in our service area, along the Sacramento County side of the Placer County line.

Is Antelope part of your regular route, or a special trip?

Regular service, the same as anywhere else in the metro we work.
