Field dust on the glass
Galt is surrounded by working farmland, and in the dry months the agricultural dust that comes off it settles on everything outside, window glass included. Sills and tracks collect the most, more than in the built-up parts of the metro, and screens hold their share too.
Exterior glass is washed from the ground with a water-fed pole and filtered, softened water; inside, glass, doors and screens are done by hand.
Tracks and runners come last, because that is where the dirt from the rest of the window ends up, and after a Galt dry season there is plenty of it to clear.

We bring the water treatment unit; all we need from you is access to a water tap. Hot water is not needed.

The pole and brush work window by window from the ground, scrubbing and rinsing with filtered, softened water.

Glass, doors and screens are cleaned by hand, with a long pole and a damp cloth for anything high.
