Ground-level pole, year-round glass
Exterior glass is washed from the ground with a water-fed pole, and the inside, doors, screens and tracks are done by hand.
Sacramento's housing decides how long that takes. Original multi-pane windows in pre-war Land Park and East Sacramento homes take longer per window than the single large panes in newer Natomas construction, and the per-window rate reflects it. The pole covers a standard two-story house, but not the upper floors of a downtown high-rise; for those units only the interior glass is on the list, and the building's entry rules apply.
The season matters too. Valley dust from June through September settles fastest on ground-level sills and sliders, so a summer visit usually spends more time on tracks than a spring one. Most Sacramento homes book once or twice a year, and visits continue through the winter.
Homes east of Watt Avenue are served on the Arden-Arcade routes, with no travel surcharge anywhere inside city limits.

We bring the water treatment unit; all we need from you is access to a water tap. Hot water is not needed.

Outside from the ground
The pole and brush work window by window from the ground, scrubbing and rinsing with filtered, softened water.

Glass, doors and screens are cleaned by hand, with a long pole and a damp cloth for anything high.

Tracks and runners are done last, since that is where the dirt from the rest of the window ends up.

No, not with the pole method, which only reaches from the ground. For high-rise units we clean the interior glass; the exterior needs a rope-access specialist, which isn't a service we offer.
Does the valley dust mean I need window cleaning more than once a year?
Most Sacramento homes book once or twice a year. If you want to time a visit, June through September is when sills and tracks load up fastest.
Do the multi-pane windows in older homes cost more?
They take longer per window. Original multi-pane windows in Land Park and East Sacramento homes need more time than single large panes, and the per-window rate accounts for that.
