Overview
Height, pitch and foothill shade
Heavy moss is brushed off mechanically, the whole roof gets a treatment that kills lichen and small moss at the root, and we come back in two to three weeks to check. In El Dorado Hills, height and shade decide the quote.
The custom homes in Crescent Ridge Village and Winterhaven Village sit higher on their lots and carry steeper roofs than the flatter homes in Malby Crossing. Both factors raise the price, because they take more time and care to work safely.
Closer to the foothills, there is also more oak and pine around the house. Shade keeps a roof damp longer, and the debris that settles on it gives moss a place to start. Everything we remove gets cleaned up, including anything that lands on a neighbor's side in the closer-set planned sections.

Local notes
Working in El Dorado Hills.
Custom and planned
Crescent Ridge Village and Winterhaven Village lean toward larger custom homes on hillside lots, while Malby Crossing has newer, closer-set houses.
Stairs and slopes
Hillside lots add elevation change and extra stairs to a visit, something the flatter valley suburbs rarely ask of a crew.
Oak and pine litter
Closer to the foothills than the valley floor, the town collects oak and pine debris all year, with dry-season dust on top.

What clients say about Expert Home Cleaners.
The crew was right on time and did a thorough job, leaving everything in my place looking great and taking good care not to disturb anything. Marianna comes every Monday and turns our mess into a home—I wouldn’t give her up for the world.
Very excellent service. The team was on time and easy to reach, and they did a great job on the windows. Friendly crew all around.
The cleaner paid close attention to detail and made sure to focus on the specific areas I asked about. They were on time, friendly, and easy to communicate with throughout the process.
Alina cleans my house every two weeks and does an excellent job. Always. I appreciate the clear communication and consistency. Highly recommend!
My house is absolutely beautiful. I’ve had difficulty being able to clean it to the level that I’m used to and so to have her come in yesterday and just do everything perfectly put me at such a sense of ease I can’t recommend this service any higher
Such a lovely experience . I do not live in the city where the cleaning services were performed. Yaryna was kind, easy to communicate with, clear and responded promptly. The work was outstanding as seen via pictures. Highly recommended this company. Thank you!
Amazing Customer service and my house is perfectly clean! Could not recommend more!
Natalia showed up on time to our cleaning appointment. She was extremely respectful, soft demeanor, and very kind. It's always difficult trusting strangers in our homes, but I felt completely comfortable with having her here. She did an amazing job cleaning, and I will definitely request her return. Thank you so much!
The ladies were very friendly, patient, and hardworking! They did a great job and worked hard to get everything done. I really appreciate their effort and would definitely recommend them!
FAQ
Straight answers.
Something else on your mind? Call or text and a real person answers.
(279) 300-0830Do hillside El Dorado Hills homes need more roof work than Malby Crossing?
Generally, yes. Hillside homes have more height and pitch to work safely, and more foothill shade from oak and pine for moss to take hold in.
Do you do the follow-up visit for El Dorado Hills roof jobs?
Yes. We come back two to three weeks after the treatment to check the result ourselves, the same as on every roof job, hillside or planned section.
Do you clear the gutters during an El Dorado Hills roof cleaning?
Not as part of it. Gutter clearing is a separate service starting from $220, and it can be booked for the same visit, which makes sense when moss comes off the roof into the troughs.
