Overview
Panels on newer Rescue roofs
Panels are washed with brushes and softened water, never a pressure washer. What is local is which Rescue homes have them and what lands on them.
Newer construction on Rescue's larger lots is more likely to fall under California's post-2020 solar mandate than older rural properties, where panels would only be a retrofit. So the arrays we see in Rescue are mostly on newer builds.
The foothill setting keeps them busy. Oak debris and dry-season dust settle on panel glass, and pollen adds to the film in its season. If the array is on a steep pitch or a hard-to-reach second story, that raises the minimum regardless of panel count.
While we are up there, we check the roof under and around the panels. Under Rescue's oaks that is worth doing, since roof moss and lichen are a separate job priced on condition.
What's included
In the price — and what isn't.
Included in every visit
Gentle panel wash
Brushes and softened water, with no pressure washer and no chemicals that could damage the coating.
Dust and film removed
Dust, pollen and the mineral film that builds up between washes, lifted off the panel glass.
Not included
- Cleaning the roof under and around the panels (priced separately as roof cleaning, based on condition)
Process
How we do Solar Panel Cleaning.
-
Panels and roof first
In your estimate request, tell us roughly how many panels there are and what the roof is like. Price is set by panel count and roof complexity, and a person replies with a starting price.
-
Soften the water
Water is softened before it touches the panels, so it does not leave the mineral film hard water would.
-
Wash by brush
Panels are washed with brushes and that softened water. No pressure washer, and no chemicals that could damage the coating.
-
Reach what we can
We wash everything we can reach. Not every spot under a panel is reachable, and we won't claim to reach the center of every one.
-
Check the roof below
The roof under and around the panels is checked while we are up there. Cleaning it is its own job, priced as roof cleaning.

Local notes
Working in Rescue.
Rural foothill homes
Lower density and larger lots than Cameron Park or Shingle Springs. Homes sit further apart, with more yard and outbuildings around them.
More ground per visit
Spread-out lots add exterior surface to most jobs, and the oaks drop more debris than trees on the valley floor.
Oaks and dry dust
Oak debris arrives through the year here, and the dry season adds a layer of dust over it.

The crew was right on time and did a thorough job, leaving everything in my place looking great and taking good care not to disturb anything. Marianna comes every Monday and turns our mess into a home—I wouldn’t give her up for the world.
Very excellent service. The team was on time and easy to reach, and they did a great job on the windows. Friendly crew all around.
The cleaner paid close attention to detail and made sure to focus on the specific areas I asked about. They were on time, friendly, and easy to communicate with throughout the process.

My house is absolutely beautiful. I’ve had difficulty being able to clean it to the level that I’m used to and so to have her come in yesterday and just do everything perfectly put me at such a sense of ease I can’t recommend this service any higher
Such a lovely experience . I do not live in the city where the cleaning services were performed. Yaryna was kind, easy to communicate with, clear and responded promptly. The work was outstanding as seen via pictures. Highly recommended this company. Thank you!
Amazing Customer service and my house is perfectly clean! Could not recommend more!
Natalia showed up on time to our cleaning appointment. She was extremely respectful, soft demeanor, and very kind. It's always difficult trusting strangers in our homes, but I felt completely comfortable with having her here. She did an amazing job cleaning, and I will definitely request her return. Thank you so much!
The ladies were very friendly, patient, and hardworking! They did a great job and worked hard to get everything done. I really appreciate their effort and would definitely recommend them!

(279) 300-0830Is a newer Rescue home more likely to have solar?
Generally, yes. Newer construction in Rescue is more likely to fall under California's post-2020 solar mandate, while older rural properties would only have panels as a retrofit.
Do you pressure wash panels in Rescue?
No. Panels in Rescue are washed with brushes and softened water, the same as everywhere we work, never with a pressure washer or chemicals that could harm the coating.
Does a steep or two-story roof cost more?
It can. A steep pitch or a hard-to-reach second story raises the minimum price, regardless of how many panels are on the roof.
