Clean before the boxes arrive
Vineyard's housing is mostly new construction, which makes move-outs here lighter on fixture care than in older neighborhoods nearby. There is less scale and wear to work around, and the inspection-grade pass moves quickly through kitchens and bathrooms that are only a few years old.
The extra work comes from outside. With construction still going on around finished streets, builder dust gets into tracks, sills and cabinets, and on a brand-new home the windows often still carry dust and marks from the final stages of the build.
In August 2026 we cleaned a new four-bedroom, three-bathroom Vineyard home before the family's furniture arrived. With every room empty, the crew cleaned the inside of all the closets, cabinets and drawers so the family could unpack straight into them, then did the floors throughout and washed the windows. In an empty house that takes a few hours; the same job around boxes and furniture takes much longer.
