Move In/Out Cleaning in Sacramento

$55/hr per cleaner in Sacramento — quoted up front. Starting at $375.

Sacramento move cleans usually mean one of two homes. A Midtown or Downtown apartment where the landlord walks the rooms in person. Or a pre-war rental with original wood floors and painted cabinets that need gentler products than a tract home. We bring the hardwood-safe kit by default. If your building has move-out rules — passes, elevator windows — send them over and we clean to them.
Move cleaning is different from a regular visit because the home is empty and the audience is different: a landlord with a checklist, a buyer doing a walk-through, or you, moving into a house someone else just left. We clean the surfaces that furniture normally hides and inspections always find: inside every cabinet and drawer, inside the oven and refrigerator, window tracks, baseboards, closet shelving and the floors under where appliances stood. For move-outs we work against the same kind of checklist a property manager uses, because that is what the deposit decision is based on. For move-ins we treat it as the one chance to clean the home while it is still empty — after the boxes arrive, half of these surfaces disappear for years.
For high-rise move-outs, set up building access (passes, elevator window) with your management — we clean to the building's move-out requirements. Pre-war rentals get hardwood-safe products on original floors and hand work on painted built-ins.

Neighborhoods we cover: Midtown, East Sacramento, Land Park, Natomas, Pocket-Greenhaven, Tahoe Park, Curtis Park, Arden-Arcade

How we do Move In/Out Cleaning

  1. You send the address, square footage and the move date; you get a clear starting price, confirmed once we see the home.
  2. The home must be empty or boxed — we confirm access and utilities the day before.
  3. The crew works top-down, room by room: cabinets and appliances first, floors last.
  4. Kitchen and bathrooms get the inspection-grade pass: descaling, degreasing, tracks.
  5. You or your agent walk the home against the checklist before the crew leaves.

Safety and limits

  • Utilities must be on: hot water and power are required for oven and bathroom work.
  • Oven and descaling chemistry is ventilated and never mixed; products leave with the crew.

A 1938 bungalow needed construction dust and grout haze removed after a kitchen remodel before the family moved back in.

The crew nine hours on site: HEPA vacuuming of all surfaces including walls and cabinet interiors, dry-then-damp detail pass on woodwork, grout haze removal on the backsplash, descaling of both bathrooms, and a hardwood-safe finish on the oak floors.

Frequently asked questions

Does the home have to be empty?

Empty or at least boxed. We clean inside cabinets, closets and appliances — surfaces we physically cannot reach in a furnished, unpacked home. Utilities must still be on.

Which Sacramento neighborhoods do you serve?

All of Sacramento proper: Downtown, Midtown, East Sacramento, Land Park, Curtis Park, Tahoe Park, Natomas and Pocket-Greenhaven, plus Arden-Arcade east of the city line. If your ZIP code is not listed on this page, ask — routes grow with demand.

Do you handle apartment building requirements for move-outs?

We prepare the apartment to your building management's move-out requirements — send their checklist with the quote request. Building access (passes, elevator bookings) stays on your side; tell us the rules and the crew works within them.

Is inside the oven and fridge really included?

Yes. In move cleaning they are the point, not an add-on: they are the two items landlords and buyers check first.

My rental has original hardwood — will the products damage it?

No. Pre-war Sacramento rentals get our hardwood-safe, pH-neutral kit by default, and original floors are never wet-mopped. We flag any finish damage that predates the clean so it does not end up on your deposit.

Do you guarantee my deposit back?

No one can honestly guarantee a deposit — it also depends on damage and paint. What we do is clean against the same kind of checklist property managers inspect with, and fix anything they flag on cleaning within 24 hours, free.
