Overview
Three kinds of deep clean in Folsom
South of US-50, Folsom Ranch is still under construction. The fine dust it produces works into vents, baseboards and window tracks long before a new home looks dirty, so a deep clean there is mostly detail work on surfaces that are still new.
North of the highway, Empire Ranch and Broadstone homes have had twenty to thirty years of daily use. The work concentrates in the open kitchens, where cabinet fronts need degreasing, and in master baths, where shower glass and fixtures need descaling and the grout needs scrubbing.
Historic Folsom cottages near Sutter Street are older still. Original finishes get a look before we start, and anything already damaged is photographed first so there is a record. In American River Canyon, the extra levels and stairs of hillside homes mean more baseboard and more fixtures to reach, which the scope walk accounts for.
